I am 33 years old and originally from the Voitsberg district. My passion for supporting and guiding people led me to pursue a Master of Arts in Education, which eventually brought me to the field of psychotherapy.
I chose behavioral therapy because it is based on well-researched scientific principles and offers a structured, solution-oriented approach. This method aligns with my own way of working and my desire for clear, practical techniques in therapy. One of the core goals of behavioral therapy is to equip clients with the tools to help themselves—a true self-management therapy.
An Integrative Approach
Modern third-wave behavioral therapy incorporates mindfulness-based techniques, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). These approaches expand traditional behavioral therapy by emphasizing emotional acceptance and mindfulness, making treatment more holistic and effective.
In today’s fast-paced world, stress has become a common struggle. Many people don’t know how to manage it effectively. Over the past year, mindfulness and relaxation groups have become a passion project within our practice. To ensure I can offer the highest level of support in this area, I completed a diploma program in mindfulness and relaxation training, equipping me with a wide range of techniques to promote mental well-being.
In addition to my private practice as a psychotherapist, I also work in the social education sector with adolescents aged 15–25 as part of the “AusbildungsFit” project in the Voitsberg district. This role has deepened my skills in interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and supporting people in challenging life situations. Working with young individuals facing personal and professional difficulties has reinforced my belief in the importance of psychotherapy as professional guidance.
A Little More About Me
Nature is my greatest passion. I love spending time outdoors and pushing myself physically. Whether it’s tennis, hiking, cross-country skiing, or alpine skiing, I feel deeply connected to nature and find peace in movement. Traveling and discovering different cultures is another major source of energy for me.
At home, I find relaxation and comfort with my partner and my two cats—the perfect balance between adventure and stillness.
