Hypnotherapy utilizes trance and suggestion to influence thought patterns, emotions, and behaviors by shifting the conscious mind into the background. The trance state is a unique level of awareness in which the body is deeply relaxed while the mind remains focused on the issue at hand. This process involves guided conversations between therapist and client, using visual imagery and emotional exploration.
